These complete posts celebrate completed tasks that have been on a to do list for a long time, and analysis why they were not completed earlier.
Introduction
A few years ago I started learning digital scrapbooking, initially using some dedicated software and more recently Photoshop Elements 7. I have made a few photobooks, but liked the idea of scrapbooking as it enables the addition of a story to the photographs and make it ideal to share with friends and family, although I didn’t do this part.
The details
Task: | Share scrap pages by email and on website |
Why complete it: | The main reason for creating the scrap pages is so they can be shared |
Duration to complete: | The oldest page was completed 22 months before sharing |
What needed to do: | Save scrap pages as jpgResize so suitable for email and webEmail and upload |
What caused delay: | Lack of thought! When I’d created the page I’d focussed on completing them and stopped at that point. Only when I discussed one of them with a friend that I realised I hadn’t shared many of them |
Benefits of completing | Nice way for people to view photographs from an event instead of looking through lots of individual pictures. |
Improvements | When I develop my scrapbook processes make sure I include the sharing of the pages so I share them immediately |
