I love this simple statement that nothing much happened, and there was no other text in the entry. It is a bit similar to the BBC deciding there was nothing newsworthy in 1930. Now, even if I think I have nothing to say when I pick up my diary I always find something once I put my pen to the paper; perhaps a bit similar to journalists finding enough news to fill 24 hour news channels.

I recall feeling similarly about parts of 1989.
Ha ha! I’m sure there is much more excitement waiting in 1990!
