Instead of a month focused on action and improvement October ended up being a month that feels like it never actually got started.
Goals – I didn’t progress this. I can’t even say that I thought about identifying my goals, unfortunately
Fitness – My good habits on the fitness seemed to stop in October, I suspect as I was very busy with work and all I wanted to do after leaving the office was to go home and certainly not exercise. Yes I know it is no excuse. However my weight has stayed consistent, despite getting my appetite back after my illness in September (and my new addiction to peanut M&Ms). At the end of October I weighed 66.6kg.
Tasks – I got my task list back to just one location, however it is difficult to say it is back under control when it grew by another 13 days to reach the enormous number of 92 days backlog! As I said I was busy with work in October, but I think it is time for me to review my list or to develop a backlog.
Books Read
I read four books in October, but did not have time to write reviews for any of them, which I am disappointed about because I had intend to write one for The Greatest Knight because I really enjoyed the book and learnt something about English history.
Which means I have read 51 books in 2007 and I am averaging at 5 a month.

Hi Kate, It is DEFINITELY time to go over that task list with a red pen. Be ruthless and delete the things that you are just not going to do, put some back into 1-2 yr goals or your 3-5 yr goals.
Are you doing a Weekly Review? Or just monthly? Send me an email and we can discuss this more. I have something that may help you…
Stephen,
You are absolutely correct (particularly as it is still growing). I am thinking about how to deal with it at the moment; I’m currently considering starting the new year with a completely clear task list.
The weekly review has been one of the items on my task list for a while. However your comment has movitvated to move it up the priority and I’ve done two weeks in a row now. However I think I could be better at removing items from the list. I will be in touch.
