March has been strange a month because I’ve been on leave for two weeks and it is the last month of my company’s financial year so I’ve fluctuated between relaxation and being very busy. Plus, I think the hours I’ve been working over the last few months has finally got to me as I feel exhausted and I’m struggling to do much outside of the office, hence the lack of posts recently (I had intended do a lot of writing while I was in Japan, however their public transport system is so efficient that I did not find the time).
Goals – again, I have not progressed identifying my goals in the last month. I have a very first draft and I’m thinking of just posting it so that I start progressing this area again.
Fitness – I went to my first exercise class of March last night, again thanks to my husband booking me on, however I did a lot of walking in Japan including two hikes up mountains and participated in every ceilidh dance at a wedding on Saturday and I can still feel it in my leg muscles. I now weigh 70.2kg a decrease of 0.2kg
Tasks – As some of the projects I work on changes today my incoming tasks have reduced slightly in the past week, plus I’ve been able to hand over some of my tasks to people staying on the projects. My backlog reduced from 43 days to 33 days, while my current asap list has remained the same at 27 days
Books read – As I’ve been on leave I had plenty of time to read in March and read 7 books
- The nightmare academy (amazon)
- The Virgin’s lover (amazon)
- Mr Dary’s story (amazon)
- Labyrinth (amazon)
- Women of the pleasure quarter: The secret history of the geisha (amazon)
- The American boy (amazon)
- Memoirs of a geisha (amazon)
As I didn’t write a post about my blog progress in the last month, here are some figures. In the last month my subscribers reached a new high of 179, but has now decreased to 163, probably a result of the drop in my posting rate.
The most popular posts were:
- 15 types of journals to keep
- How I successfully plan my day
- Day planner download files
- Organising my home tasks with a week planner
- 13 tips for successful hot desking
I received the largest number of referrals from Mark Forster’s website and forum.
