This is the third year I’ve done Project 365 and I love the snapshot of life provided by the scrap layouts I produce. This is the year I’m going to finish my layouts so I can make a book at the end of the year, and thanks to my new Project 365 organisation system I am doing well producing a layout each week.
During January we changed all our windows and doors. This has been a major event involving bricking up doorways and knocking out other walls so took the whole month to complete.

I’m linking up with TheBoyAndMe for Project 365: a photo a day, every day, for a year, for the first time. Click on the badge to see other 365 entries. And watch my video if you’d like to know more about how I organise my photographs for my Project 365 layouts.

Ooh your video hasn’t linked.
Love the layouts. N’s nursery have just finished making their milk bottle igloo and N was intrigued when he arrived today to see it in the playground. He couldn’t understand why there were lots of milk bottles!
Must be so nice to have nice doors and windows in.
Thank you for telling me about the video, I don’t know why it wasn’t working, but got it sorted now. The milk bottle igloo is almost finished, they just need to add the last couple of rows for the roof and it looks like a lot of fun. The new doors and windows are lovely, they are more secure and are sealed properly so we no longer have draughts.
What lovely photos and a great layout x
Thank you for your comment Kim. I love taking part in Project 365 because of the snapshot of life you capture.
I always wanted to do the milk bottle igloo at work but need some space!! I like your layout and weekly block. The house renovation looks mammoth! I have plans here but need a lottery win to get things moving 🙂
Thank you for your comment 76sunflowers 🙂 Our house plans are mammoth and the window changes are a minor part of it. We need to install several steel beams so we can remove the lift, but that is not likely to happen for another year or two as we are taking the renovation slowly. They’ve almost finished the igloo and I think I’ll have a go inside at some point.
What a lovely record of your month – looks like it’s been a busy one 🙂 New windows and doors are on our (very long!) list…
Thank you Sara, January was a fun month. Windows were at the top of our list as they were a standalone change that didn’t require my husband to do anything else first, plus we knew it would make a difference to the house as our previous ones were not very insulating.
