Yesterday I discovered that #1day12pics is an interesting exercise to notice the similarities and differences between days. I enjoyed participating last month, but didn’t think I’d join in very often because I wasn’t sure how often the first Saturday of the month would vary. From a G+ conversation other people obviously think the same and would prefer to do it on a different day of the week each month; but it appears I was wrong. Yes we had another Saturday at home, but yesterday we went to two children’s parties; that adds excitement to a day!

The only two similar pictures to October are the children dressing up and going to the library. Here is what we did yesterday:
~ 9 Children watching Cbeebies in our bed
~10 Dress up time in their new outfits
~11 Running late for the fancy dress party, so B has to renew her library book in her Elsa dress
~12 Who needs to join in party games when here are balloons to play with
~13 Party bag haul
~14 Downloading the photographs from the party
~15 Inflatable obstacle course at the 2nd party
~16 Party tea
~17 Standing on the lights illuminating a street sculpture
~18 Playing with the glow sticks from one of the party bags
~19 Eating party cake after dinner
~20 My treat after putting the kids to bed

I see what you are saying about changing the day, but I quite like seeing where my Saturdays take me. Although, since I started taking part in the #1day12pics, I apparently do very mundane things a lot of the time. Saying that, don’t we all 🙂
